CryoTherapy is a non-surgical treatment involving extreme cold to treat various skin conditions, such as lesions, warts, and benign skin growths. Dr. Artur Fahradyan uses the cutting-edge CryoProbe to address your skin concerns without discomfort or downtime.

Freeze Away
Skin Conditions

CryoTherapy is a dermatological procedure that uses CryoProbe devices to freeze and eliminate various skin abnormalities, including lesions and benign skin growths. CryoProbe is a range of powerful devices that can target various skin growths within seconds. During CryoTherapy, the appropriate CryoProbe device delivers controlled, extreme cold to the targeted area, causing the affected cells to freeze and ultimately die off. This process effectively treats various skin conditions, including lesions, skin tags, and benign growths, without pain, discomfort, or downtime.

CryoTherapy Corrects:

  • Skin lesions
  • Benign skin growths
  • Sebaceous hyperplasia

CryoTherapy FAQs

How does CryoTherapy work?

CryoTherapy harnesses the extreme cold to selectively destroy abnormal or unwanted tissue. The CryoProbe is applied directly to the target tissue. The intense cold causes the water within the cells to freeze, forming ice crystals. As these ice crystals expand, they disrupt the cell’s structural integrity, and the tissue’s blood vessels may constrict, reducing blood flow and oxygen supply to the area. Ultimately, the affected cells die and are gradually absorbed by the body.

Is CryoTherapy painful?

Most patients experience minimal discomfort during CryoTherapy. The procedure is typically performed with a numbing cream to minimize pain or discomfort.

What are the potential side effects of CryoTherapy?

While CryoTherapy is considered safe, some potential side effects include redness, swelling, and blistering at the treatment site. These side effects are temporary and resolve as the area heals. In rare cases, there may be mild scarring or changes in pigmentation.

Can I return to regular activities after CryoTherapy?

In most cases, patients can resume their regular activities immediately after CryoTherapy. However, it’s important to follow any post-procedure instructions provided by your provider, including caring for the treated area and avoiding excessive sun exposure.

Are there any restrictions on bathing or showering after CryoTherapy?

You can typically bathe or shower as usual after CryoTherapy. However, it’s important to avoid scrubbing or rubbing the treated area vigorously. Instead, gently pat the area dry to avoid causing irritation or damage to the healing skin.
